Lecture "Bathing on Usedom

Today, the sand of the ice age brings many people their livelihood. The poor area on the Baltic Sea beach could feed only a few people, almost only from fishing. Tourism begins to develop around 1850. Shipping across the Swine River and the emerging railroad bring guests well and quickly to the towns.
