Live music in Hagenow
Award-winning musicians John McCusker and Ian Carr invite you to an intimate evening of beautifully composed music, stories, and musical conversations. Together, they have collaborated and recorded with artists such as Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour, Kris Drever, Eddi Reader, and Kate Rusby, earning a reputation as two of the most respected and influential musicians in contemporary British folk music. John McCusker was a member of the legendary Battlefield Band for eleven years.
The duo draws on decades of collaboration, shared tours, and a love of traditional music. They combine first-rate skill with warmth, humor, and spontaneity, moving effortlessly between rousing melodies and a stage presence that can only come from years of playing together. Rooted in tradition yet constantly evolving—this is folk music in its most honest, expressive, and captivating form.
