Creative Design, Lecture & Science

In this workshop, you will learn step by step how to use the laser cutter creatively. Together we will go from the initial idea to the finished wooden product using a simple box.

What you can expect:
- Basics of file creation and use of existing tools
- Preparing your file for laser cutting (formats, settings, choice of material)
- Practical exercise: laser cutting your own box
- Tips & tricks on what else is possible with the laser cutter

Who is the workshop suitable for?
The workshop is aimed at beginners with no previous knowledge as well as anyone who has some experience and would like to deepen it. You should be able to use a computer confidently, we will show you everything else on site.

Material & technique
Basic materials such as plywood and cardboard will be provided. Computers will also be provided.

Aim of the workshop
At the end of the workshop, you will not only take home your own laser-cut object, but also understand the most important steps for using the laser cutter creatively on your own in the future.
