Artist Daniela Melzig presents an interdisciplinary and participatory exhibition titled "On the Way—From the Beginning to Right Now"
The exhibitions in Langenhanshagen have a long tradition. Only a few church services are still held in the old fieldstone church. During the summer months, however, the otherwise quiet church comes alive with vibrant activity for two weeks. Artists appreciate the special atmosphere in this space. The Friends of the Village Churches of Lüdershagen and Langenhanshagen Association, founded in 2021, is committed to preserving the church, which was first mentioned in a document in 1310.
As a support association and as a parish, we are of course especially delighted when our church buildings are filled with life. This is the only way to spark public interest and ensure long-term preservation.
