Meike Garden comes from a musical family. She learned to play the piano, guitar, drums, and accordion. At just 10 years old, she took the stage for the first time, took the stage as if it were the most natural thing in the world and captivated the audience. It became clear then that she possessed an extraordinary talent. A record deal followed shortly thereafter. Her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest with her mother as the duo Maxi & Chris Garden in 1988 laid the foundation for her musical career. This was followed by numerous TV appearances, CD releases, and awards. She studied musical theater and subsequently performed at various musical theaters, such as the Raimund Theater in Vienna, and embarked on a tour of Austria following another record deal. As a Rock & Pop award winner, Meike Garden began performing her own compositions and multilingual concert programs throughout Germany and beyond. To this day, she delivers unforgettable musical highlights at her performances, whether on a small or large stage—solo at the piano, with a band, or accompanied by an orchestra—transforming every venue into a living room.
