Welcome to the Laughter Lab, the new open mic night at BOLD The Club Rostock.
Look forward to a fun-filled evening with 10 or more performers from Hamburg, Berlin, Schleswig-Holstein, and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Experienced stage pros meet bold newcomers taking their first steps into the spotlight. The result is a diverse mix of different comedy styles, perspectives, and personalities.
What makes the Lachlabor special: It’s a testing ground. This is where comedy is created live in front of an audience. Comedians test brand-new jokes, develop fresh ideas further, and present material that, in some cases, is being performed on stage for the very first time.
Some jokes make their debut that evening, others evolve based on the audience’s reactions, and some might be shelved right away. It’s precisely this blend of experimentation, spontaneity, and genuine live moments that gives this open stage its special appeal.
