Experienced comedians and newcomers from Berlin, Hamburg, and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania test out new jokes, hone their punchlines, and try out crazy ideas.
New jokes. New ideas. New talent.
Welcome to the Laughter Lab, the new open mic night at BOLD The Club Rostock.
Look forward to a fun-filled evening with 7 or more performers from Hamburg, Berlin, Schleswig-Holstein, and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Experienced stage professionals meet bold newcomers taking their first steps into the spotlight. The result is a diverse mix of different comedy styles, perspectives, and personalities.
What makes the Lachlabor special: It’s a testing ground. This is where comedy comes to life in front of a live audience. Comedians test brand-new jokes, refine fresh ideas, and present material that’s sometimes being performed on stage for the very first time.
Some jokes make their debut that evening, others evolve based on the audience’s reactions, and some may be shelved right away. It’s precisely this blend of experimentation, spontaneity, and genuine live moments that gives this open stage its special appeal.
You can look forward to an evening full of surprises, fresh comedy, and authentic stage moments in a unique club atmosphere.
All seats are equal. By purchasing higher-tier tickets, you support the idea behind the Lachlabor: a stage for new talent, creative experiments, and fair compensation for the artists shaping the evening.
Admission is for ages 18 and up. ID is required for all ages!
BOLD The Club is located inside the Rostock Casino. Ticket refunds are not available if you are subject to a gambling ban.
