“Kuddel Daddeldu and I” is a loving tribute to Joachim Ringelnatz, featuring his unforgettable poems, songs, and moving glimpses into his life. Muschelkalk, the poet’s great love, guides the audience through the evening. With devotion and humor, she recounts stories from Ringelnatz’s life, recalls moments they shared, and brings the person behind the famous artist to life. Interspersed throughout are his poems and maritime songs—sometimes cheerful and tongue-in-cheek, sometimes thoughtful and touching.
The result is a creative message in a bottle filled with stories, poetry, and music that finds its way straight into the harbor of the heart—amidst wit and waves, the sea and melancholy. A declaration of love for one of Germany’s most unconventional yet deeply human poets.
