Krissy Matthews is a British-Norwegian blues rock artist, with his own trio Krissy Matthews Band, playing a progressive blues rock fusion.
He has played well over 1000 shows all over the world, in some of the most prestigious venues, such as Ronnie Scott's and Loreley.
At the age of 12 he was performing with John Mayall and sharing an amp with the legend Peter Green. At 15 he received career advice from the great BB King and at 16 he was the last musician to play with the great Jeff Healey in the UK.
He and his band have shared the stage with some of the biggest names in music including Toto, Gregg Allman, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Joe Bonamassa, Joe Satriani and Beth Hart.
Krissy is signed to Ruf Records and last month released his critically acclaimed album "Krissy Matthews and Friends", a collaboration with 80 musicians that lasts over 3 hours.
Guests on the album include Paul Jones, Clawfinger, Chris Farlowe, Arthur Brown, Dennis Chambers and many more.
The album spent a month at the top of the Amazon Blues Charts, received multiple radio airplay, top reviews including a 9/10 rating in the UK's biggest rock magazine Classic Rock and graced the cover of Bluesnews Germany last month.
