THE HARVEST COMMUNITY presents selected highlights from the multifaceted oeuvre of the exceptional Canadian artist Neil Young - and goes its own way in the process.
Folky soundscapes, psychedelic jams, raw grunge energy, intimate ballads and straightforward rock anthems merge into an intense concert experience that reflects Young's musical openness and stylistic diversity.
THE HARVEST COMMUNITY now also plays its own songs, which fit organically into the program. Inspired by genres that also significantly influenced Neil Young, jam rock, grunge, folk and blues expand the band's sound and lend the concerts additional dynamism, topicality and, above all, joy of playing.
THE HARVEST COMMUNITY therefore sees itself not just as a tribute band, but as a lively musical community that connects people, generations and musical influences and creates an atmosphere between audience and musicians - carried by the work of one of the last great legends of rock music.
After the death of their long-time singer Lutz Wolf in 2024, the band has regrouped. With respect for their shared past, the experiences of the past years and a breath of fresh air, the young musicians show that Neil Young's music is timeless, multi-faceted and highly topical - and, in combination with their own songs and influences, anything but dusty or nostalgic.
