Brass music is anything but old-fashioned!
Under this motto, the Klasbachtaler are once again inviting everyone to their popular Music Sunday this year. “Tradition Meets the Future” stands for a blend of time-honored brass band tradition, modern sounds, and plenty of musical enthusiasm.
As usual, visitors can look forward to a varied afternoon divided into two parts. In the concert program, the Klasbachtaler will present the full range of traditional and modern brass band music. Afterward, it’s time to clear the dance floor! During several dance rounds, everyone can once again cut a figure—just as it should be for the Klasbachtaler Music Sunday.
There’s a special change to the venue in 2026: Due to construction work, the Neukloster City Hall is unfortunately unavailable this year. Therefore, the Klasbachtaler will be making a special guest appearance at Henryk Blievernicht’s “Zur Kegelbahn” restaurant in Lübow . Refreshments will also be well taken care of there: In addition to coffee and cake, drinks, and snacks, a small menu will be offered this time as well.
Since the hall can accommodate a maximum of 100 guests, this year’s Music Sunday will take place twice with the same program: on November 8, 2026, and November 21, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day. Doors open at 2:00 p.m.
Important for anyone who would like to attend: Tickets are available exclusively in advance. There will be no box office on the day of the event.
The Klasbachtaler are looking forward to showing, together with their audience, that brass band music can be many things: traditional and modern, cozy and lively, for listening and for dancing—everything, that is, except outdated.
This event is financially supported by the cultural funding program of the Northwest Mecklenburg district.
