Children, Market & Festival

A lively event at the Zarrentiner swimming area welcomes all children and their families. Group games, fun entertainment, a chain carousel, a bounce house, and much more provide plenty of fun and make time fly by.

The next children’s festival will take place on June 7, 2026. A lively celebration on June 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Zarrentin swimming area invites all children and their families. Group games, fun entertainment, and much more will bring joy and make the time fly by: a big fun obstacle course organized by the daycare centers, an exciting kids’ movie quiz, craft tents run by the Schaalsee-Elbe Biosphere Reserve Office and JYSK Zarrentin, bounce houses for running around, dance performances by the “Power Dance” group and “Zumba Kids,” crêpes, ice cream, and waffles, goal-shooting at “Empor Zarrentin,” hearty grilled food and refreshing drinks, a kids’ raffle with great prizes, face painting, a trivia quiz hosted by the DLRG, and a fantastic water spray wall set up by the fire department.
