Out into nature, into the studio! During the summer vacation workshop, participants will spend a week—from August 10 to 14—drawing, painting, and sculpting.
Nature is the world’s largest art studio. A broken seashell, a gnarled branch, the light filtering through the treetops—if you look closely, you’ll discover shapes, textures, and colors everywhere that no artist could ever invent better. That is precisely the starting point for this special summer workshop.
During the week of August 10–14, participants will embark on a journey of discovery together with instructor Henning Spitzer—outdoors in nature and indoors in the studio. What is collected, observed, and experienced in the morning finds its way onto paper or into a three-dimensional object in the afternoon. Drawing, painting, and sculpting are guided by what nature provides and what one’s own imagination makes of it.
The workshop combines experiencing nature with artistic expression. Children and teens learn to see their surroundings through a different lens, to pause and reflect, and to transform what they see into something of their own.
€125 for the entire week, including materials | Registration required | Instructor: Henning Spitzer
