L'art de passage: traditional world music compositions between Europe and South America - surprisingly free interpretations - virtuoso trance-like melancholy alternates with exuberant passion. Milonga, samba, tango, techno, minimal and more. Melodies by Astor Piazzolla, Pedro Laurenz, Edu Lobo, Coco Nelegatti and others.
The musicians Stefan Kling (piano), Tobias Morgenstern (accordion), Jansen Volkers (violin) and Wolfgang Musick (bass) have been playing together for over 25 years under the name L'art de Passage.
They push their skills and their joy of playing to the limit. They treat well-known and original compositions with irreverence and skill. Surprising improvisations end in minimalist motifs - classical music becomes jazz.
