These are exciting times for the shape-shifter Sierra: the cool snowy owl girl Avery keeps picking fights with her. All Sierra really wants to do is concentrate on the project week at her school. She has chosen the topic "Poisonous Shifters" - because the dangerous jellyfish woman Thanada, whose touch can be fatal, is still at large. The rattlesnake Nightstar, the scorpion shifter Bryan and Sierra's buzzard friend Ricardo support her in her project, but it doesn't go as planned.
At the same time, strangers are spreading terrible rumors about Redcliff High and trying to harm the students and teachers in increasingly threatening ways. Are there spies among them? Sierra and her friends realize that they must take action. But their enemies are not only invisible, they also have unexpected abilities.
Katja Brandis, born in 1970, studied American, English and German studies and worked as a journalist. She has been writing since childhood and has published numerous novels for young readers. She lives near Munich with her husband, son and two cats.
