Kat Menschik presents her book series "Favorite Books"
Illustrator Kat Menschik, who grew up in Berlin, first gained recognition in the late 1990s in the Berlin section of the FAZ, among other places, for her drawings for the comic series *Weltempfänger*. Since then, she has been a regular contributor to the FAS. Her book illustrations for Haruki Murakami, Edgar Allan Poe, Volker Kutscher, and others are unique.
Since 2016, she has been publishing her own book series with Galiani Verlag, with two volumes released annually. During the event, she will present the “Favorite Books” series in conversation with publisher Wolfgang Hörner. Special emphasis will be placed on the volumes featuring Franz Kafka, Asta Nielsen, and Monika Helfer.
