KARMAKAB stands for soulful folk-pop with distinctive guitar sounds and powerful bass lines. The band was founded in 2004 by singer and songwriter Josh Pschunder, and bassist "Hellmood" Scheuer has complemented the sound for 18 years.
As KARMAKAB, Josh Pschunder (guitar, vocals) and "Hellmood" Scheuer (bass) travel inexorably through time in their cab, between agony and euphoria, leaving behind unpreunpretentious glimpses of charismatic guitar sounds and intoxicating bass tones, which, paired with uncompromising drum beats, merge into sensitive folky pop songs.
KARMAKAB was founded in 2004 by singer/songwriter Josh Pschunder. Josh discovered his passion for music at an early age and started playing guitar at the age of 4. He wrote his first songs at the age of 14.
For 18 years, bassist "Hellmood" Scheuer has been an integral part of Karmakab as the perfect musical complement.
KARMAKAB made their first appearance in 2005 at the legendary Buskers Festival in Ferrara/Italy, which attracts over 800,000 visitors every year.
Their music is contemplative, inescapable and full of sonic beauty. It makes the pulse beat softer or faster. The audience is touched to the core.
KARMAKAB has played numerous gigs and festivals. Highlights were gigs in London, Berlin, Hamburg and Leipzig as well as festivals in Italy.
In 2023, KARMAKAB was invited to play at Italy's biggest music festival (Festa della Musica) in Brescia.
