France/Belgium 2025, Director: Vinciane Millereau, Length:103 minutes
DA: Elisa Zylberstein, Didier Bourdon, Mathilde Le Borgne and others.
They are a family straight out of a 1950s picture book: the father goes to work, the mother cleans the house. The young son is a droll scatterbrain and the daughter a withdrawn teenager. They all live in a pretty little house with a garden for barbecues. One day, a miracle happens: Mama Dupuis has won a modern washing machine in a competition and is delighted with the new relief in housework. But her husband Michael wants to sell it on. They both rush into the machine, water leaks out, an electric shock follows - and then they wake up in the present. Now you can join them in being horrified by the
achievements of modern life, especially the little magic machines that ring and then have the distant spouse on the screen. But society has also changed a lot in almost 70 years.
