Piano and cello concerto at Whitsun

Born in Marburg and now based in Leipzig, cellist Jonas Seeberg studied cello in Munich, New York and Berlin. Jonas Seeberg has been solo cellist with various European orchestras, since 2001 with the Philharmonie Zuidnederland (Maastricht/Eindhoven) and has performed throughout Europe. He also performs as a soloist and chamber musician and has been involved in CD and radio recordings for Sony, NEOS, WDR and Deutschlandfunk. The works of J.S. Bach are an essential part of his wide-ranging repertoire and the starting point of his musical and cellistic signature. He plays a cello by Matteo Goffriller (Venice, 1700).

South Korean-born pianist Jongsuk Kim is much in demand as a chamber music partner and soloist. She has won prizes at various international competitions. Her fresh, lively interpretation and playing style have delighted audiences in the largest halls in her home country as well as in renowned concert halls in many countries.
