During the winter vacations, the OZEANEUM invites you to take part in an exciting hands-on activity on the subject of water.
Discover the blue planet Earth and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the oceans and their inhabitants.
Water is the basis of all life: over two thirds of the earth's surface is covered by water. Without water, our Earth would be a hot, desert planet. The Earth's special climate ensures that water is mostly liquid - a small proportion evaporates or freezes, for example as ice in the Arctic and Antarctic. Around 97 percent of the Earth's water is salt water and is found in the world's oceans, which provide a habitat for countless fascinating marine animals.
Come along and test your knowledge about water, oceans and their importance for our planet!
