Concert
Bach ad infinitum - hardly any other work embodies this motto more impressively than his Mass in B minor. In it, Johann Sebastian Bach achieves a timeless dimension of religious and musical depth. The mass is not only a testimony to the consummate art of composition, but also a resounding symbol of the infinity of God, which is reflected in every single piece of the mass, in every polyphonic interweaving.
When the choir sings "Dona nobis pacem" at the end, this plea for peace carries far beyond the Bach Week. Let it continue "ad infinitum"!
