Multivision show by and with Roland Marske
It overwhelms me with a high-tech society in which people live in vibrant, sprawling mega-cities, but at the same time are firmly rooted in ancient traditions. It enchants me with breathtaking nature, venerable temples, heart-warming friendliness and indescribable culinary delights. But it also alienates me with sprawling landscapes and ugly cities that always look the same. And it frightens me with unpredictable forces of nature, overcrowded subways, poisonous fish and complicated toilets.
Japan is a society that functions according to completely different rules than ours. I have approached the secrets of Japan on several trips. As always exciting and profound, with a lot of humor and charm, I report in my show about the subtleties of Japanese culture, the strange Japanese way of life and breathtaking landscapes. And I promise you: you will go home with the refreshing realization that everything in Japan is completely different, and some things are even better than here. And that is exactly what makes Japan so fascinating as a travel destination.
