Songs to savor and reflect on, ranging from the Romantic era to well-known movie themes.
The program includes pieces by Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn, Robert and Clara Schumann, and Gustav and Alma Mahler, as well as “Moon River” and “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.” The music is framed by subtle texts and poems about a summer night—what better way to end the day?
Braunschweig-based mezzo-soprano Dagmar Barth-Weingarten consistently captivates her audience with her warm, rich voice and sensitive presentation. She is perfectly accompanied on the piano by Hisae Otsuka-Stroh.
The duo from Braunschweig is performing in the region for the first time and has already made a name for itself at various concerts in churches and at music festivals (more at: www.musik-befluegelt.de).
Look forward to an atmospheric evening—a warm welcome to all!
