History in Hagenow
On International Museum Day, museums around the world draw attention to their role in society. As an important means of cultural exchange, they not only take responsibility for our cultural heritage, but also promote understanding, tolerance and diversity worldwide.
The museum team is also offering a variety of activities. Not only the permanent and special exhibitions are open between 2 and 5 pm: Children, young people and adults can try their hand at writing in Sütterlin and seal their finished documents with wax; registration is not required. The AG Eisenbahngeschichte will also be presenting its work again and providing interesting insights into the activities on and around the rails. There will also be an open tour of the special exhibition "Volle Kanne - Genuss in der Tasse" at 3 pm. The reduced admission price applies on International Museum Day.
