Since 2019, the Children's Center has been the only provider in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to offer the "wir2 bonding training for single parents" as a course with 20 units for single mothers and fathers. The special thing about this training is that the courses are free of charge and free childcare is offered during the course times. The training is led by trained and certified specialists and is scientifically evaluated throughout. Regular scientific evaluations show the lasting effectiveness of the training, which significantly strengthens the well-being and bond between parents and children.
From March 2026, we2 attachment training will be offered at the new location in Mueßer Holz. We invite single parents to get to know the we2 attachment training on January 28. Over a coffee, you will meet the trainers at the AWO Parent-Child Center (ElKiZ) and learn all about the content, process and effects of the training while educational specialists look after your children.
