The IFC spends a weekend at the beach. A varied program is put together with a mixture of sport and culture. On Saturday, there will be sports and games to watch and take part in. In between, you can expect readings, talks, music and the sea. Sunday is a family day with games and sports activities for children and young people.
June is beach time - IFC beach time. The International Football Club Rostock presents itself and its friends for a weekend in the Strandarena Warnemünde and invites you to join in and linger.
The IFC knows all soccer pitches, hall floors, sports mats and pavements. On June 06 and 07, 2026, it's off to the sand. The area directly on the first beach access in Warnemünde is huge and opens up new possibilities. The picture is clear: sunny, blue skies; a light breeze; a grandstand to watch the hustle and bustle; a large sandy area to play games, compete against each other, make music, dance, readings, more sport and a cool drink in the Walbar next door. And the sound of the sea in the background.
But let's start at the beginning: as a long-standing player in Rostock's sporting and cultural landscape, the association will also be presenting itself this weekend. A diverse and varied program will offer excitement, fun, exchange and encounters.
Look forward to sports activities from various IFC divisions and special offers especially for the beach. A yoga session with sand between your toes while the seagulls screech in the background? An obstacle course session and then cooling off in the Baltic Sea? Just play a bit of roundnet or frisbee? Everything is possible.
Sunday is aimed specifically at families, children and young people. As on Saturday, there will be games to borrow and also program points to let off steam and get creative.
Thanks to the partners and club friends who make the sports program possible.
The weekend would not be complete without the friends and partners from Rostock's cultural scene. Initiatives, organizations, organizers and artists have accepted the IFC's invitation and enrich the weekend with readings, music and workshops.
