Ice bathing spectacle
Be there when more than a hundred brave ice bathers plunge into the Baltic Sea under the motto "Ice Ice Western". Cowboy hats, fringed vests and wild bandanas are expressly encouraged - the three most creative outfits will win prizes, including a wildcard for the 2027 ice bathing event with an overnight voucher.
In addition to the spectacular bathing countdown, spectators can look forward to a line dance show and a musical mix of country classics and modern hits. Cool photo points will provide souvenir photos in the icy cowboy look, and heated changing rooms, free hot and cold drinks and a small snack for the ice bathers will be available on the beach area. Catering is also provided for visitors.

This is what awaits the ice bathers at the traditional ice bathing spectacle: (Subject to change!)
- into the water at 14:30
- an ice bathing medal for all the brave ones to collect
- Participants in the ice bath can enjoy free non-alcoholic and alcoholic hot drinks throughout the event
- hot drinks (at the station set up) and enjoy a small snack (vendor at the event location) Tip: Please have a €2 cup deposit ready or bring your own cup.
- Heated tents for ice bathers
- Participation is free of charge
- Parking spaces are available on the large beach parking lot (for a fee)
- a family atmosphere
- An attractive and atmospheric program of events

Note:
Photos of the ice bath participants and the surroundings (location, visitors ect.) will be taken at the event. If you do not wish to be photographed during the event, please contact the photographer or the organizer on the day of the event.
The visit of the event is free of charge with your UsedomCard (show it if necessary).

Parking spaces near the beach
There are sufficient bicycle stands available on site. If you arrive by car, you can park it in the Strandstraße/Dünenstraße parking lot for a fee. Please enter Dünenstraße 2 into the navigation system. The parking lot entrance is on the left side of the street. It is approx. 300 m to the main beach entrance.
The Festwiese and VOSTRA parking lots in front of the Trassenmoor train stop are also available as alternative parking spaces (for a fee). It is approx. 1 km to the main beach entrance.
Note on toilets near the beach
There are several public toilets on site (Strandstraße/on the beach promenade - beach access 9G), which can be used free of charge. The toilet building located directly on Strandstraße is equipped with a disabled toilet. A Euro key is required for this.
