Attack, shadowing, cyberattack - How hybrid warfare works in Europe. An event in cooperation with the Gesellschaft für Sicherheitspolitik e. V.
Cyber attacks, sabotage and targeted disinformation are among Europe's greatest security challenges. Modern conflicts are increasingly being waged covertly, digitally and with different means at the same time. Hybrid warfare is directed specifically against states, infrastructure and societies.
But how do these forms of influence exertion work? How great is the threat to Germany and Europe? And how can democratic states respond?
Together with experts from politics and security policy, we will discuss current developments and strategies in dealing with hybrid warfare. The focus will include cyberattacks and cases of sabotage in Germany and the EU as well as the security policy significance of Nord Stream 2 and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
