Scenic reading
During a production residency in Doberan at the beginning of March, actresses Jana Sonnenberg and Hannah Elischer are working on the first draft text for a play that explores the question: What has to happen for cute little boys to become dictators? The first answers are available today.
The version of the text premiered here will be turned into a play for everyone aged 16 and over, with plenty of (black) humor and a wide range of acting techniques (including drama, characters and singing). The setting is a therapy practice for well-heeled parents that promises an all-round package: from the birth of the son to starting a career as a dictator.
An example family in the learning process is used to show how children can be trained as early as possible in manipulation, narcissism, callousness and populism, so that the sweet mice later develop their monstrous potential to the full.
A reading for everyone aged 16 and over. Reading time approx. 60 minutes, followed by an audience discussion.
Admission is free.
