"Speaking & Listening" is a structured discussion format in which everyone has an equal opportunity to speak.
The upcoming state election is on many people’s minds. Some look to the future with hope, while others do so with concern or uncertainty. In our daily lives, we often lack the opportunity to talk about these issues with one another in a calm and respectful manner.
Through our “Speaking & Listening” dialogue format, we invite you to share your personal thoughts, experiences, and feelings about the upcoming state election. The focus is on listening, understanding, and exchanging different perspectives. Everyone participates as individuals and citizens; no one represents a political party.

We invite you to join us for additional “Speaking & Listening” discussions on August 31 and October 5, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. each day.
Participation is free and open to anyone interested.
Registering (stadt@rerik.de) helps us plan for enough chairs, drinks, and snacks, but it’s not required.
The evening will be facilitated by a professional moderator.
