First House Concert at the Malchow Art Museum

Music, Stories, and Deep Emotions: On October 24, 2026, the Malchow Art Museum will launch its new in-house concert series. Look forward to a special evening that combines music, literature, and the fascinating story of an extraordinary artist.

Kicking off the series: “Hildegard Knef – Songs. Life. Passion.”

Our new series kicks off with the musical reading “Hildegard Knef – Songs. Life. Passion.”

Andrea Wellemeyer traces the footsteps of one of Germany’s most fascinating artistic personalities. She recounts Hildegard Knef’s eventful life, her extraordinary career, and her very special passion for music and the stage.

Helga Dannenberg will provide musical accompaniment on the piano throughout the evening.

An evening full of stories, music, and memories—and a wonderful opportunity to experience the Malchow Art Museum from a completely different perspective.

A new musical series begins

This concert marks the kickoff of a series we’re particularly excited about. More house concerts featuring outstanding artists are already in the works.

Among others, we can look forward to the well-known singer-songwriter Moritz Grimm from Waren, who has already confirmed another concert.

Anke Medwed, former singer with the NDR Showband and now a successful solo artist, author, and composer, will also be our guest as part of our in-house concert series.
