"Horizons" A Cappella Concert with the Octavians

To mark its 20th anniversary, the vocal ensemble Octavians is embarking on a special a cappella journey. Under the title *Horizonte*, the award-winning male octet from Jena is expanding its lineup for the first time to include four female singers, thereby deliberately breaking new musical ground. Twelve voices—from deep bass to high soprano—open up new sonic realms: from the sacred music of Heinrich Schütz and Johann Sebastian Bach to Romantic choral works and modern and contemporary arrangements. The audience can experience how musical horizons spanning five centuries are opened up and brought to life.
