Concert series "Hörwelten": French September - Chanson, Swing & Jazz
How good it feels when, after the first autumn storm, the sun's warming rays remind us once again of the past summer: of traveling through France, of feet in the sand, of street music and sunsets. But with the colorful autumn leaves also comes a longing - for places of bliss, for long-gone love and the magic of fleeting moments.
The "French September" concert takes the audience on a poetic journey through old and new French chansons, songs by Kurt Weill as well as ballads and rhythms ranging from bossa nova to swing. An evening between lightness and melancholy, full of music that touches the heart and soul.
