The GEDOK M-V presents artistic KORRESPONDENZEN at Kunstwasserwerk Schwerin 13 positions of contemporary art in an interdisciplinary dialog
In the impressive ambience of the industrial monument, thirteen artists from the visual and applied arts, music and literature show how the most diverse forms of artistic expression enter into a dialog with each other.
These interrelationships between the art forms are the focus of the exhibition. As one of the oldest networks for the promotion and visualization of women in art, GEDOK offers the ideal platform for this and combines painting, drawing, graphics, sculpture, photography, glass art, textile design, installation, music and literature to create a fascinating overall experience.
The vernissage will take place on September 6 at 5 pm. Art historian Annekathrin Siems will introduce the exhibition. With her background as a curator and project manager of the Künstlerbund M-V, she will provide in-depth insights into the artists' works.
The Ayón duo with Yosuke Maeno on cello and Anton Scharsich on double bass will provide the musical backdrop. The combination of these low string instruments creates a special world of sound that corresponds perfectly with the visual works of art.
The artists of GEDOK M-V cordially invite you to a celebration of art, exchange and inspiration!
