The story, written by South African author Dorian Haarhoff, tells the touching and eventful journey of a boy from the Nama ethnic group who sets off alone on a journey through the Namib Desert to visit his parents and his newborn sibling at Christmas.
The story, read by Gerda Voss, is framed by pictures and varied music. The musicians are Manu Kolditz - percussion and vocals, Claudia Meures - saxophone and Frieder Rohn - violoncello.
