Munich, 1810: After the death of their beloved father, the two sisters Elisabeth and Anna are on the verge of losing their family's entire life's work. An unscrupulous rival has long been lusting after the small, flourishing bakery. Passionate baker Liesi's only chance is to prove her skills to the royal court and prepare bread for the prince's upcoming wedding.
But her rival will do anything to stop her. His close friend Jacob is tasked with winning Elisabeth's favor and stealing the traditional family recipes at the same time. However, his own feelings get in the way and he soon has to decide what he wants to fight for: a secure future or his passionately beating heart?
