Colorful market bustle with live music
The Ludwigsburg castle and estate grounds will once again kick off the 2026 season with the traditional spring market. On Saturday, April 25, 2026, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., numerous traders will be offering their products under the motto: "From the region - for the region".
From 3 p.m., the 1st Pomeranian Wind Orchestra Wolgast e. V. will be playing in the castle courtyard. There will be special offers for children from the Tutow Heimatstube and the Pomeranian Artists' Association e. V.
The castle of the Pomeranian dukes can be visited during the entire market period. Guided tours of the castle take place at 11.30 am and 2.00 pm. Detlef Niemann will be giving a guided tour of his exhibition "Old Electrician's Workshop" at 1.00 pm, which recreates a country electrician's workshop in the 20th century.
Admission is free - donations are requested. Catering will be provided. Free parking is available on the festival meadow in front of the grounds and in the small parking lot by the castle pond.
Please note that only cash payment is generally offered on the market site.
