A lively market atmosphere, live music, and an author reading
On Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., numerous vendors will gather at the Ludwigsburg Palace and Estate under the motto “From the Region—For the Region.”
Starting at 2:30 p.m., the 1st Pomeranian Wind Orchestra Wolgast e. V. will perform in the castle courtyard. A guided tour of the castle will take place at 11:00 a.m. Children can have their faces painted, try their hand at crafts in the workshop of the Pomeranian Artists’ Association, and take part in an interactive fairy tale. At 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., Rostock-based author Robert Schulz will read from “Pelipontalus and the Queen of Machines,” his fantastic children’s book for readers aged 8 to 98. Refreshments will be available.
Admission is 2.00 euros per person. Children and teens under 16 are admitted free of charge.
Free parking is available on the lawn in front of the complex and in the small parking lot by the Schlossteich.
