School event as part of FANTAKEL—the 18th Puppet Theater Festival in Greifswald
Schaper + Richter, ages 8 and up
A production by and featuring students from the “Ernst Busch” Academy of Dramatic Arts
“Is it okay to watch a war?”
A play about a man whose own power gets the better of him. About a brave princess who refuses to just stand by and watch, and instead takes her fate into her own hands. And about a narrator who would prefer to stay out of it all.
But is that even allowed? To watch a war without intervening?
Annika Schaper and Robert Richter tell a story that inspires the courage to act. Against the backdrop of a cardboard castle, they combine lively hand-puppet theater with storytelling.
