Featuring Melanie Seeland and Aljoscha Stadelmann—A collage that oscillates between longing and unease, between staying and leaving, between belonging and feeling like an outsider...

Free admission; no registration required.
Where is home? When is home? Who is home? A place? A memory? A feeling? Or something that only emerges when we miss it?
HEIMATMASCHINE is a collage—between longing and unease, between staying and leaving, between belonging and being a stranger. Featuring texts by Herta Müller, Stefan Zweig, Einar Schleef, Helga M. Novak, Elias Canetti, Heiner Müller, Heinrich von Kleist, Feridun Zaimoglu, Bertolt Brecht, Peter Handke, William Shakespeare, Goethe, and others.
*The Living Advent Calendar is an Advent event organized by the WerkHausWaren e.V. association, now in its fourth year. In December, “doors” open almost daily at a different location in Waren (Müritz)—for example, at a business, an institution, a school, a youth center, or a church... There, people come together to experience culture, sing, listen, or participate in a small, usually free event.
