The Heideberg, a small hill in the middle of "Alt-Baabe", becomes the showplace of the Baltic resort once a year and attracts people from the beach and promenade to the cozy lower village. Numerous clubs from Baabe provide regional delicacies such as grilled meats and fresh fish sandwiches. There is also a wide selection of drinks: from coffee and soft drinks to refreshing punch and long drinks to the classic cool Pilsner - there is something for every taste. Accompanied by a varied musical stage program, visitors celebrate the Heidebergfest until late in the evening. Originally a small get-together for the village community, the festival has developed into a popular attraction that also delights numerous tourists year after year.
