On Saturday, September 12, 2026, the Förderverein Heimatmuseum Rambin e.V. invites you to this year’s Harvest Festival from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the museum grounds at Drift 8. The program has plenty to offer for young and old alike: Among other things, the event will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Rambin daycare center. The Rambin Küstenkinder will present their program, and there will also be a sing-along with the Rambin Folk Choir. The Pep Steps from the Sassnitz Carnival Club will provide dance entertainment.
Younger visitors will also have plenty to enjoy. In addition to a bounce house, a craft station, and play areas, there will be face painting and pony rides. Horse-drawn carriage rides offer a special way to explore the area. Those interested can take part in museum tours, watch traditional grain threshing, or see a demonstration of the historic sawmill. The Rambin Youth Fire Department will also be there with a demonstration.
A variety of food and drinks will be available. In addition, local clubs and artists will showcase their offerings. The “Lernort Natur” information van will provide information about local nature and the environment.
Another highlight is the big raffle. A ticket costs two euros, and every third ticket wins a prize. Among the attractive grand prizes are day passes for the Stralsund Zoo, admission tickets to the HMS Otus Submarine Museum, free tickets to the treetop walk at the Rügen Nature Heritage Center, a 20-euro gift certificate for the HanseDom Stralsund, a sightseeing tour on the Hanomag worth 89 euros, and tickets to the speedway.
