Hansel and Gretel
Fairy tales loosely based on the Brothers Grimm—presented by the Parktheater Edelbruch
The well-known fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are retold in a refreshing new way through original adaptations. They encourage audiences to make their own dreams come true and to embrace life’s challenges. With lighthearted rhymes, combined with elements of improvisational theater and puppetry, this fairy-tale material entertains children and adults alike and invites the audience to watch and join in.
Their parents had actually planned to come back right away. And now it’s already getting dark in the forest. Should they wait, as their parents ordered, or set off for home on their own? It’s not easy for Gretel, as the older sister, to make the right decisions. Especially when you have a brother like Hansel, who still believes in ghosts and witches.
