On the "South Rügen" tour you can experience the undiscovered south of Rügen. Under the avenue trees of the "Deutsche Alleenstraße", the tour leads to the port of Lauterbach. Along lonely beaches and a battlefield of the Prussians against the Swedes, it goes to the old Rosengarten estate, to Groß Schoritz with the birthplace of Ernst-Moritz-Arndt and the castle ramparts of Garz, and back through the classicistic Putbus with its famous theatre, market square and circus.
At lunchtime there is pea soup and drinks. At special places, sea buckthorn liqueur and mead made from cow horns are served.
