We’re opening our doors for our little Halloween party at the Reingelesen bookstore. Amid cobwebs, a smoke machine, and plenty of spooky decorations, we’ll be reading aloud, chatting, browsing, and, of course, handing out a few treats.
Some traditions are just meant to stay the same.
For the fifth year in a row, things will get a little darker, a little foggier—and, above all, quite cozy and spooky—here on Halloween.
For the kids, we’re once again hosting our spooky storytime sessions—just the right amount of scary without getting too creepy. Reading together and having stories read aloud is simply part of what makes an evening like this special for us, and it’s also part of our free reading promotion programs.
Anyone who comes in costume can also look forward to some candy—whether you’re six or sixty years old.
And anyway: Halloween at Reingelesen is definitely not just for kids.
Come by with your kids, with friends, on your own, or just for a quick chat. Have some punch or mulled wine, warm up, browse the store a bit, and see what you can discover amid all the fog.
We’re certainly looking forward to slipping back into our costumes and transforming our bookstore into a little spooky world for one evening.
October 30 | 5–9 p.m. | Reingelesen Bookstore in Parchim | Free admission
And now, of course, we want to know:
What would Halloween be without a costume? What are you coming as this year?
We can’t wait to see who we’ll meet on October 30.
