On October 31, 2026, Barth will once again host spooky rides on the Darssbahn. The ghost train, starting at 5:00 p.m., is aimed at older children and adults, while the “scaredy-cat” tour, starting at 4:00 p.m., is suitable for younger children. At Bogislawplatz, visitors can enjoy a spooky walking act, bread on a stick, and interactive games. Tickets are available online and at the Vineta Community Center; advance purchase is recommended.
For the fourth time, Darssbahn Erlebnistouren and the town of Barth are inviting visitors to join Halloween spooky rides through downtown Barth. There are two tours to choose from. The Ghost Train is aimed at older children and adults and starts at 5:00 p.m., running every 15 minutes until 6:15 p.m. The “Scaredy-Cat Tour” is designed for younger children; it takes place before dark and departs at 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The starting point for both tours is Bogislawplatz in front of the Vineta Community Center at Papenstraße 8. During the tour, passengers will encounter spooky characters and figures from dark tales. There’s also entertainment at Bogislawplatz itself for those waiting—the square becomes a mystical stop. The spooky walking act “Tody” sets the mood, and there’s also bread on a stick, popcorn, hot dogs, and drinks, as well as interactive games.
Advance ticket sales are recommended; only remaining tickets will be available on-site. Visiting Bogislawplatz is free of charge.
If you want to really get into the spirit, come in costume.
