Images of change in MV from reunification to the present day
From one day to the next, almost everything changed for people in eastern Germany after reunification. Manfred Scharnberg, who captured these harsh upheavals as a photojournalist in the early 1990s, has now revisited the same places in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: Schönberg, Rostock, Barth and Anklam.
The result is two independent reportages 30 years apart, which are juxtaposed in the exhibition "From today to tomorrow". It is an exciting look at the changes in our society today. The unusual presentation of the exhibition is like a multimedia magazine. Short texts and captions explain the background to the more than one hundred pictures. Visitors can listen to statements by some of the protagonists on their own smartphones.
Photographer Manfred Scharnberg will guide you through the exhibition on 23.01.26, and there will also be an exclusive insight into other pictures.
You are welcome to talk to the photographer and other participants.
Registration is requested. We look forward to an exciting event with you.
