On May 30 and 31, 2026, the Förderverein Grambower Moor e. V. and the Stiftung Umwelt und Naturschutz MV (StUN) invite you to public guided tours through the Grambower Moor and to the moor exhibition in the hunting school. The moor, one of the largest rain moors in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, has been heavily drained and peat-drained and is to be rewetted in future. The first rewetting measures will start in fall 2026.
The guided tours start at 10:00 am at the parking lot at the chicken farm (Tannenburger Weg, Grambow). Duration: Saturday approx. 1.5-2 hours, Sunday approx. 2-3 hours. Depending on the weather, sturdy shoes or rubber boots and mosquito protection are recommended.
The exhibition and the taxidermy room of the hunting school are open on both days from 12:00 to 15:00. Members of the Friends' Association will be on hand to answer questions and there will also be a quiz.
Registration is not necessary, participation is free of charge. Donations are welcome. Participation is at your own risk.
