That which comes from the soul In a trio with Ralf Benschu (saxophone) & Jens Goldhardt (organ)
Gerhard Schöne, saxophonist Ralf Benschu, now legendary from his interludes with Keimzeit, and church music director and organist Jens Goldhardt unite different musical styles to create an extraordinary concert evening that has been and continues to be celebrated throughout Germany because it combines emotion and poetry with the big and small questions of humanity. Another evening full of musical and lyrical finesse, thoughtfulness and exuberance!
New and popular songs by Schöne in a new guise, reworked chorales come into the present day, instrumental pieces for organ and saxophone by contemporary authors such as Hugo Diaz and Astor Piazolla have room and space. Secular and sacred music thus harmonize in a way rarely experienced before.
The songwriter Gerhard Schöne has created an unusual combination in this concert form. Rejoice! Rejoice! Two friendly words that are often used in church when something wonderful like this happens.
