Can you identify fossils? Do you know what a "Donnerkeil" is, and how to recognize a fossilized sea urchin? Come join us for an exciting scavenger hunt.
Can you identify fossils? Do you know what a thunderbolt is, and how to recognize a fossilized sea urchin? In a pile of rocks, you’ll find traces of the world’s first animals and fossils that are older than the dinosaurs. What other animals’ fossilized remains can you find here? Join us on a search for creatures that lived many millions of years before us. Geologists will explain how to identify and distinguish between the different fossils. Anyone who manages to find all the fossils listed in the Fossil Passport will also receive an original fossil from the time of the T-Rex at the end. An exciting scavenger hunt that parents and grandparents are welcome to join, too.
