What exactly is a “boulder”? Where do all the colorful stones on the Baltic Sea beach come from? And what fossils can be found here?
These and many other fascinating questions will be answered during a geological tour of the beach. During the tour, explorers of all ages will learn interesting facts about the formation of Poel Island and receive an introduction to identifying beach stones.
Led by: Nina Mühl – certified geologist & paleontologist, as well as an environmental and nature educator. Also available in German Sign Language and English upon request.
